Handwritten Book Note - Pathia's Guild

Because I've also written a Middle Grade Fantasy

This is another unfinished book that’s been sitting in my computer since about 2011. It’s MG fantasy, and I was really enjoying it - while it lasted. I remember, right before I had success with THE EDGE OF NEVER, I was contacted by an agent because she had seen my Darkwoods Trilogy was doing well on Amazon (I gave away over 80,000 copies of that series! And it even got me a call from someone at Funimation, but nothing ever became of it, which SUCKS because one of my dreams is to have some of my work turned into an anime!) Anyway…

…this agent contacted me and asked if I had anything I hadn’t already published that I could show her because she was interested in representing me. Well, I was almost done with THE EDGE OF NEVER at the time, but I didn’t want to show her that one for some reason I still don’t know. Instead, I sent her my MG fantasy, PATHIA’S GUILD - THE LEGEND OF NAZUR AND GRIMMETT. It wasn’t finished, either, but I sent it to her anyway.

Ultimately, she passed on it and didn’t offer me representation. But then, just a few short weeks later, I self-published THE EDGE OF NEVER, and hit all the bestsellers lists, agents contacted me, etc. Most of you already know the story.

So, this is one of my notes from that MG series I never finished writing. But I loved that story so much that maybe I’ll post it here someday for paid subscribers to read what I wrote.
