WINDS OF THE IRON FEATHER - Abandoned Book
Some things weren't meant to be...
It took three years to write EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN when I finished it in 2019 while living in Los Angeles. I poured my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into the book - I still think about the characters today. But because hardly anyone read it, I was devastated and lost my passion for continuing Thais' and Atticus' story in the intended sequel, WINDS OF THE IRON FEATHER.
The story was inspired by one of my all-time favorite book series, The Bronze Horseman Trilogy by Paullina Simons, and the relationship between Beth and Daryl in the television show, The Walking Dead.
I had high hopes for EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN, thinking it would bring me back to the success I'd had with THE EDGE OF NEVER and make my readers have faith in me again.
But it did not. And you know what they say about getting your hopes too high.
Anyway, I did start writing the sequel, and since I have no intention of finishing it, I thought I'd share it here on my Substack. No words written should ever go to waste! 😊
